Marble Remains Skull Ornament
Grey, cream and brown marbling flows across the Marble Remains Skull Ornament, giving its familiar shape a polished stone-like appearance. Dark eye sockets contrast with the mottled surface, while the sculpted teeth and jaw provide definition beneath the patterned crown.
Cast in hand-painted polyresin, the ornament has a listed size of approximately 9.5cm. The marble-effect decoration continues around the back, making it interesting from different viewing angles. Its compact proportions and earthy palette suit a small gothic shelf, desk or mixed skull collection.

Marbled Colour Across a Classic Cranium
The surface pattern provides the decoration, allowing the skull’s outline to remain simple and recognisable. Lighter cream areas break up the grey and brown tones, while the hollow features give the face a stronger point of contrast.
The stone-like effect is painted onto resin, creating a distinctive finish across the sculpted form. Display it beside darker ornaments to bring lighter tones into the arrangement, or pair it with natural-looking textures for an earthy interpretation of gothic décor.
Contrast Marbling with Woodland Texture
The Deadwood Tree Skull Ornament makes an interesting companion, contrasting Marble Remains’ smooth-looking pattern with raised bark, twisting roots and small leaves. Their earthy colours bring the two together while keeping the finishes distinct. Find further interpretations in our Skull Ornaments, add a taller character from Reapers and Skeleton Ornaments, or introduce a creature from Gargoyles, Grotesques and Horror to vary the silhouettes on the shelf.
Display and care
Place on a stable surface and support beneath the skull when moving. Dust with a soft, dry cloth or brush, taking care around the teeth and hollow features. Avoid soaking and abrasive cleaners on the painted marble-effect finish.
