Deadwood Tree Skull Ornament
Twisting roots and rough bark form the skull of Deadwood, with small leaves nestled around its crown and hollow features. Earthy brown colouring gives the cranium the appearance of weathered woodland growth, while dark recesses define the eyes, nose and jaw.
Cast in hand-painted polyresin, the ornament has a listed size of approximately 11cm. Raised branch-like strands continue around the back, interrupted by green and orange leaf accents. Its compact form brings together familiar skull imagery and the tangled textures of an old tree.

Tangled Roots Around Hollow Eyes
The root-like strands give the eye sockets and jaw an uneven, organic outline. From a distance, the skull remains recognisable; closer up, the interwoven textures and little leaves reveal the woodland detail that makes Deadwood distinctive.
The bark effect is sculpted in resin, with painted shading adding depth between the raised strands. Display it among earthy colours and leafy ornaments for a dark forest arrangement, or let its brown finish introduce a different texture to a collection of pale skulls.
Bark, Leaves and Floral Skulls
Pair Deadwood with the Eternal Bloom Floral Skull Ornament to compare two botanical interpretations of the same subject: tangled brown roots beside pale pink floral relief. Our Skull Ornaments offer further variations for the shelf. For a woodland setting around Deadwood, choose leafy faces from Green Man and Goddess, or introduce a more unsettling sculpted companion from Gargoyles, Grotesques and Horror.
Display and care
Place on a stable, level surface and support beneath the skull when moving. Dust between the root-like strands with a soft, dry brush, avoiding pressure on the small leaves. Do not soak or use abrasive cleaners on the painted finish.
