Velvet-Covered Wooden Singing Bowl Stick - 19 × 2.5cm

Encourage smooth, sustained tones from a singing bowl with this Velvet-Covered Wooden Singing Bowl Stick. The solid wooden body provides a comfortable, controlled grip, while the velvet-covered section creates softer contact as the striker moves around the bowl’s outer rim.

Measuring approximately 19cm long, the striker offers enough reach for steady circular movement without feeling cumbersome. It is a practical choice for meditation, sound sessions and personal practice where a gentler tonal response is preferred to the brighter attack of plain polished wood.

  • Weight: Approximately 70g
  • Sound response: Soft, smooth and sustained

Why This Velvet Singing Bowl Stick Stands Out

The velvet surface softens contact with the bowl and produces a different response from an uncovered wooden striker. Its cylindrical shape supports even pressure and steady movement, helping sustained tones build gradually as the stick travels around the rim.

Use this velvet-covered striker with one of our Singing Bowls to encourage smooth, sustained tones. You’ll find plain wooden sticks, bowl cushions and other useful extras in Musical Accessories, while our Tingsha and Shakers add lighter chimes and gentle rhythmic detail to a sound session.

More about this product

Hold the striker comfortably and place the velvet-covered section against the outside edge of the singing bowl. Move it steadily around the rim using light, even pressure, allowing the tone to develop before adjusting the speed or pressure.

Keep the striker dry and remove light dust from the velvet with a soft brush. Natural differences in the wood grain, colour and velvet finish may be present.
