Why This Plain Singing Bowl Stick Stands Out
Its uncomplicated cylindrical shape provides a secure grip and an even contact surface. The solid wooden body creates a brighter, more immediate response than a padded striker, making it useful for distinct notes, measured rhythms and sustained rim playing.
Use this plain wooden striker with one of our Singing Bowls to create clear notes or build a sustained tone around the rim. More strikers, bowl cushions and useful extras are available in Musical Accessories, while our Tingsha and Shakers add lighter chimes and rhythmic detail. For quieter personal meditation, it also pairs naturally with our Mala and Rudraksha Meditation Beads.
More about this product
For an individual note, hold the stick comfortably and strike the outer wall of the singing bowl gently. To encourage a sustained tone, keep the stick upright against the outer rim and move it steadily around the bowl using even pressure.
Begin gently and adjust the speed or pressure gradually according to the bowl’s size and response. Store the stick in a dry place and wipe it with a soft cloth when needed. Natural variations in wood grain and colour may be present.
