Treasured Remains Skull Trinket Box
A raised skull rests at the centre of Treasured Remains, surrounded by curling ornamentation across a warm brown lid. Dark eye sockets and blue-toned accents bring depth into the sculpted surface, giving the small box an aged gothic character without losing the finer decorative detail.
The hand-painted polyresin box measures approximately 5.6 cm high and 14.3 cm wide, with a removable lid opening onto a hidden compartment below. Raised scrollwork continues around the sides, so the piece still feels finished when viewed from lower angles rather than only from above.
- Material: Polyresin
- Finish: Hand-painted
- Dimensions: Approximately 5.6 cm high x 14.3 cm wide
- Design: Raised skull with gothic scrollwork
- Storage: Concealed compartment beneath removable lid
- Colour detail: Warm brown with darker recesses and blue-toned accents
A Skull Guarding the Lid
The skull gives the box a clear macabre centre, but the flowing scrollwork around it keeps the design more ornate than severe. The warmer brown finish also softens the darker subject, while the blue-toned recesses add a slightly weathered, almost patinated feel to the decoration.
Because the box is low and broad rather than tall, the lid remains easy to see beside larger figurines, bottles or candles. That makes the sculpted top a real part of the display rather than something hidden once the box is placed on a shelf.
Hidden Storage Beneath the Ornamentation
Lift away the lid and the decorative piece becomes a practical little hiding place for jewellery, crystals, tokens or other small keepsakes. Closed again, the skull and scrollwork return the focus to the sculpt rather than the storage inside.
Treasured Remains belongs naturally amongst our Resin Boxes, while the raised skull connects directly with our Skull Ornaments. For more dark sculptural pieces with gothic detail, browse Gargoyles, Grotesques and Horror.
Display and care
Lift the removable lid by its edges rather than the raised skull. Keep the interior and stored items dry, and dust the recessed scrollwork gently with a soft, dry brush.
