Watchers Thirst Dragon Tankard Small
A vivid red dragon eye stares out from a field of purple scales on Watchers Thirst, with a small claw pushing through beneath it as though the creature is trapped just beyond the surface. Silver-toned highlights pick across the raised scales and curved handle, adding contrast around the darker blue-grey surround.
Standing approximately 11.7 cm tall, the hand-painted polyresin tankard is built around close-up dragon detail rather than a full creature scene. A removable stainless-steel insert forms the inner vessel, while the sculpted eye, claw and textured scales give the outside plenty of character even when the tankard is simply on display.

A Dragon Watching from Beneath the Scales
The eye gives Watchers Thirst most of its personality. Rather than showing a dragon in full, the design suggests something much larger hidden just out of sight, with the claw beneath reinforcing the idea that the creature is pressing through the tankard itself.
The purple scales and red eye create a much more vivid look than a traditional bronze or stone-effect dragon piece, while the cooler blue-grey areas help the brighter colours stand out without making the surface feel too busy.
A Compact Dragon Tankard with Plenty of Texture
The raised scale pattern gives the outside a strong tactile look, and the stainless-steel insert keeps the inner vessel separate from the decorative polyresin surround. Even at its smaller size, the sculpted eye and claw make the piece easy to recognise from across a shelf.
Watchers Thirst belongs naturally amongst our Goblets and Tankards, while the eye, claw and scaled surface connect directly with our Dragon Ornaments. For more bold fantasy pieces built around dragon detail, the Scaled Hoard Red Dragon Decorative Bowl makes a strong companion.
Use and care
Follow the manufacturer’s guidance for beverage use and cleaning. Remove the stainless-steel insert carefully when required, and wipe the painted polyresin exterior gently without soaking or using abrasive cleaners. Take extra care around the raised eye, claw and scale detail.
