Spirit Board Bloom Skull Ornament
Spirit-board lettering curves across the forehead of the Spirit Board Bloom Skull Ornament, surrounded by deep red roses, orange flowers and mysterious celestial symbols. Crescent moons and an all-seeing eye add occult-inspired detail to the dark surface, bringing together gothic skull art, botanical decoration and traditional spirit-board imagery.
Measuring approximately 14.8 cm in its listed dimension, this hand-painted resin skull features decorative lettering and floral patterns extending around the sides and rear. A planchette motif appears on the reverse, continuing the spirit-board theme beyond the front of the sculpture. Pale sculpted teeth and warmer shading emphasise the skull's anatomical contours against its darker background.

Spirit-Board Symbolism Amongst Crimson Roses
Bloom's appeal lies in the contrast between its darker skull form and the colourful decoration covering its surface. Red roses and orange flowers introduce warmth, while the curved lettering, crescent moons and watchful eye create an atmosphere inspired by spirit-board symbolism.
The detail continues beyond the front, with the planchette design on the reverse giving the ornament an additional point of interest. Its layered artwork makes it especially striking when displayed where the sides and back can also be appreciated.
Gothic Floral Art with a Spirit-Board Twist
Bloom brings rich botanical colour to our Skull Ornaments, offering a decorative alternative to more traditional bone-effect skulls. The lettering and planchette motifs draw inspiration from the designs found in our Spirit Boards, while the skull's darker aesthetic also complements the unusual sculptures gathered in Gargoyles, Grotesques and Horror.
Display and care
Support the main skull when lifting and place it on a stable surface. Remove dust gently with a soft, dry brush, taking care around the sculpted teeth, painted lettering and raised floral details. Avoid abrasive cleaning products.
