Shadow of Death Reaper Ornament

A dark robe sweeps outward around Shadow of Death, giving the hooded reaper the look of a figure caught in a fierce wind. Above the hidden face, a curved scythe blade carries a small skull detail through its sculpted surface.

The approximately 23.1 cm ornament is cast in hand-painted polyresin. A brown wood-effect shaft breaks up the black cloak, while silver-grey colouring picks out the blade. The spreading folds create a dramatic silhouette without a visible skull beneath the hood.

A Cloak Caught in the Shadows

The robe does most of the storytelling here. Its pointed, windblown edges pull the scene sideways, while the tall scythe gives it a strong upright line. The empty-looking hood leaves the character mysterious, making this a more atmospheric choice than a smiling or comic skeletal figure.

The windswept cloak gives Reapers and Skeleton Ornaments a more ominous shape. Skull-led details in Skull Ornaments echo the blade’s small motif, and Gargoyles, Grotesques and Horror suits the figure’s shadowy mood.
