More About the Natural Loop Coconut Lamp
The Natural Loop Coconut Lamp is made using a real coconut leaf rather than a coconut shell. The leaf is carefully shaped using heat, allowing it to form the graceful curved structure that surrounds the lamp's cotton globe. An Albasia wood support completes the design, bringing together several natural materials in one unusual piece of lighting.
Handcrafted by a family business in Bali, each lamp reflects the individuality of its materials. Slight variations in leaf curvature, wood grain and finish are expected and contribute to its handmade appearance.
The Natural Loop design has an especially open silhouette, allowing the rounded cotton-thread shade to remain clearly visible within the curved leaf. When illuminated, the globe produces a gentle diffused glow, while the surrounding structure adds decorative interest even when the lamp is switched off.
Its natural colouring works beautifully alongside wooden furniture, rattan, linen fabrics and leafy houseplants. Place on a stable, dry surface, follow the supplied electrical instructions and avoid covering the light while illuminated. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth.
