Bring together clear glass and rugged natural timber with this Medium Molten Glass Bowl on Wood. Recycled glass is hand-blown and shaped while hot over a piece of gamal wood, allowing the glass to settle into the timber’s individual curves as it cools.

The result is an organic decorative piece where the glass and wood feel naturally joined rather than simply placed together. Its taller medium format works beautifully with air plants, crystal chips, moss, dried botanicals or a simple decorative arrangement.

Natural Glasswork with a Taller Sculptural Shape

The wood helps determine the final shape of the glass, so each piece develops its own individual contours rather than the perfectly uniform outline of a moulded bowl. That gives the finished piece a more sculptural feel, especially where the clear glass wraps closely around the natural timber beneath it.

Its medium size gives it more presence than the smaller bowls while still being easy to place on a sideboard, shelf or table. The transparent glass also makes whatever you place inside part of the display rather than hiding it.
