Lord of the Rings Balrog Sand Timer 23.9cm

Lord of the Rings Balrog Sand Timer

The Balrog looms above a glass sand timer, its dark wings rising around fiery orange detail. A rocky base gives the creature a setting of its own, with the hourglass held within the sculpted display.

Standing approximately 23.9 cm, the officially licensed Lord of the Rings piece is cast in resin and hand-painted. The glass timer is removable, letting the practical hourglass remain distinct from the surrounding figure. Dark and fiery tones keep the creature’s form dramatic.

• Height: Approximately 23.9 cm

A Balrog Guarding the Sands of Time

The hourglass gives the figure an unusual centre, making the passage of sand part of the display. The wings frame it without hiding the creature’s face and horns. A distinctive collectible for someone who enjoys Middle-earth’s darker beings and sculptural pieces with a practical element.

Give the darker beings of Lord of the Rings Merchandise an unusual hourglass centrepiece. Other pieces in Sand Timers repeat the practical format, while Gargoyles, Grotesques and Horror brings imposing creatures to the surrounding display.
