Last Light Bone Skull Lamp

Bone-coloured skulls form the shade of Last Light, stacked above a sculpted spine that runs down into a base crowded with smaller bones. Warm brown shading settles into the recesses, helping the pale skeletal detail stand out clearly even before the lamp is switched on.

Standing approximately 22.6 cm tall, the hand-painted polyresin lamp carries its macabre theme from top to bottom. Light shines through the hollow eye sockets within the skull shade, while the vertebrae and bone-covered base turn the whole piece into a sculptural display rather than a conventional lamp with gothic decoration added around it.

A Lamp Built from Bone

The macabre detailing continues through the entire design rather than stopping at the shade. Skulls form the upper section, a column of vertebrae creates the central support, and scattered bone shapes gather around the base below.

That gives Last Light the feel of a piece of dark sculpture as much as a table lamp. The pale bone colouring keeps the anatomy easy to read in daylight, while darker shading around the teeth, eye sockets and joints adds depth to the sculpt.

Hollow Eyes After Dark

Once illuminated, the eye sockets become the strongest focal point, casting a warmer glow through the otherwise cold skeletal forms. The effect changes the mood without obscuring the detailing, so the lamp still has plenty of presence whether switched on or off.
