Ishtar The Meopotamian Goddess of Love and Power

Ishtar Goddess of Love and Power Figurine

Ishtar stands with feathered wings spread behind her, her raised hands holding circular details beneath a tall headdress. A lion and owl accompany the figure at the base, giving this goddess sculpture a richly symbolic setting.

The hand-painted 22 cm polyresin design has a bronze-like finish with subtle coloured accents across the feathers and body. Long hair and jewellery details keep the central figure intricate, while the textured base gathers her animal companions into the scene. A name plaque at the front completes the display.

Winged Goddess Imagery with Animal Companions

The open wings and animal companions give Ishtar a rich, balanced composition. The lion and owl draw the eye down from her tall headdress to the detailed base, with bronze-like colour tying the whole scene together. It is a distinctive goddess figure for a collection inspired by ancient imagery.

Ishtar’s winged form brings ancient goddess imagery into History and Mythology. Her warm finish sits alongside Bronzed Figurines, and the bird at her feet gives Owl Ornaments a clear place in an animal-rich display.
