Place the hoop cushion on a flat, level surface and lower the singing bowl carefully onto the padded ring. Check that the bowl rests evenly without rocking or sliding before striking it or playing around its rim.
Remove light dust with a soft, dry cloth or gentle brush. Avoid soaking the fabric or storing the cushion while damp to help preserve its shape and padded support.
