Hoard Defender Red Dragon Trinket Box
A red dragon stands guard over Hoard Defender, gripping a sword close to its chest above a dark shield-shaped box. Golden-toned horns and wing edges break through the vivid red scales, while deeper brown and copper-like tones below give the little guardian a suitably weighty hoard to defend.
Standing approximately 10.4 cm tall, the hand-painted polyresin piece combines a fantasy dragon figurine with hidden storage. Lift away the removable lid to reveal a small keepsake compartment beneath, while raised scrollwork, metallic-effect accents and the shield-like shape keep the lower section decorative when the box is closed.

A Dragon Standing Guard Over the Hoard
Dragons and treasure have been closely linked throughout fantasy storytelling, so a small dragon guarding a hidden compartment feels particularly fitting here. The sword pushes the character a step further, giving the creature the look of an active defender rather than one simply curled around its hoard.
Bright red scales make the dragon the immediate focal point, while the darker box beneath prevents the storage section from competing with the figure. Gold-toned details around the horns and wings add warmth and definition without softening the overall fantasy character.
Hidden Storage Beneath the Shield
Lift the lid and the decorative scene becomes a practical hiding place for jewellery, crystals, tokens or other small keepsakes. Once closed, the compartment disappears beneath the dragon and shield-like surface, leaving Hoard Defender looking more like a miniature fantasy sculpture than a storage box.
The sword-wielding guardian makes an eye-catching addition to our Dragon Ornaments, while anyone looking for more decorative hiding places can continue through our Resin Boxes. Its shield, weapon and darker fantasy detailing also give Hoard Defender enough edge to work alongside the stranger creatures and sculptural pieces in Gargoyles, Grotesques and Horror.
Display and care
Lift the removable lid from the solid box section rather than the dragon, sword or wings. Support the lower body when moving, keep the compartment dry and remove dust from the scales and raised scrollwork with a soft, dry brush.
