Harpy Creature of Storm and Tempest Figurine
A harpy spreads her feathered wings above a twisted, tree-like base, with hooked claws drawn beneath the body as though caught in the middle of flight. Bronze-like colouring runs across the figure, broken by green-blue accents that bring extra depth to the feathers, hair and scaled-looking details.
Standing 24.6 cm tall, the hand-painted figurine is built around movement. The body lifts away from the base, broad wings open to either side, and the feather layers continue around the back so the sculpt keeps its detail from more than one angle. A named base anchors the scene beneath the raised creature.

The Harpy in Greek Mythology
Harpies belong to Greek mythology and are usually described as winged female beings associated with violent winds, sudden snatching and punishment. In later art and literature they became increasingly monstrous in appearance, often combining a woman’s upper body with the wings, claws and features of a bird.
That background fits the storm-and-tempest theme of this figure particularly well. The lifted pose, open wings and clawed legs give the impression of a creature driven by air and movement rather than one standing calmly on the ground.
Movement Through the Wings
The broad feather span carries most of the visual weight, while the raised body keeps the figure feeling light despite the darker bronze finish. Green-blue accents catch across the feather layers and help separate the wings from the body, giving the sculpt more depth without introducing a completely different palette.
The harpy belongs naturally among our History and Mythology figures, while the metallic surface places her comfortably beside our Bronzed Figurines. For more legendary creatures with claws, wings and darker forms, browse our Dragon Ornaments.
Display and care
Lift the figurine by the base and solid lower section, leaving enough clearance around the wing tips and claws. Dust the feather layers gently with a soft, dry brush and avoid pressure on the raised body or narrower projecting details.
