Final Drop 14.6cm

Final Drop DJ Reaper Ornament

A grinning reaper leans over a pair of turntables in Final Drop, headphones resting over the black hood. One skeletal hand reaches towards the record while the other hovers over the controls, giving the figure the absorbed pose of a DJ in the middle of a set.

The approximately 14.6 cm ornament is cast in hand-painted polyresin. Pale bone colouring and silver-grey decks contrast with the flowing dark robe. It is a sculpted scene for display, with the music equipment forming part of the ornament rather than a working audio feature.

The Reaper Takes Over the Decks

The familiar hood and skull become unexpectedly playful when placed behind turntables. Small controls and oversized headphones give the musical theme a clear shape, making the joke easy to read without any wording. It is an entertaining desk or shelf piece for someone whose taste runs to both music and dark humour.

Final Drop gives Reapers and Skeleton Ornaments a musical personality. The exposed face shares its bone-coloured detail with Skull Ornaments, while Gargoyles, Grotesques and Horror offers other unsettling characters for a darkly playful shelf.
