Extra Large Wooden King Stick for Singing Bowls - 26 × 9.5cm

Draw out strong, clearly defined tones from larger singing bowls with this Extra Large Wooden King Stick. Its substantial wooden body provides greater weight and momentum than a standard striker, helping larger bowls respond with a confident initial note and developing resonance.

Measuring approximately 26cm long and 9.5cm at its widest point, the oversized design offers a secure two-handed or supported grip when required. Its smooth natural finish and distinctive sculpted shape give this practical musical accessory a strong visual presence.

Why This Extra Large Wooden Singing Bowl Stick Stands Out

The greater size and weight allow the striker to transfer more energy than a short, lightweight wooden stick. This makes it particularly suited to larger bowls that require a firmer, more deliberate strike to bring out their fundamental tone and layered overtones.

This larger striker is ideal for bringing out strong, clear tones from one of our Singing Bowls. Smaller sticks, bowl cushions and alternative beaters can be found in Musical Accessories, while our Tingsha and Shakers add lighter chimes and gentle rhythmic detail to a sound session.

More about this product

A solid wooden striker generally creates a more immediate and clearly defined attack than a felted or padded beater. The final response will depend on the singing bowl’s size, thickness, construction and the position and strength of each strike.

Begin with a controlled, moderate strike and increase the force gradually if needed. Store the stick in a dry place and wipe it with a soft cloth. Natural differences in the wood grain, colour and surface detailing form part of each piece’s individual appearance.
