Dragon’s Whisper Gothic Fairy Figurine

A gothic fairy leans towards a black dragon in Dragon’s Whisper, their faces brought close in a quiet, almost private exchange. Red fabric gathers around her knees, while dark wings rise behind the pair and give the scene much of its height and drama.

The hand-painted resin sculpture stands at approximately 40 cm, making it one of the more substantial fairy-and-dragon pieces. Red accents run through the fairy’s black clothing and wing detail, while her pale face contrasts sharply with the dragon’s darker scales, horns and curled body. The creature sits close beside her rather than apart from the scene, so the two figures read immediately as a connected pair.

A Meeting Between Fairy and Dragon

What gives Dragon’s Whisper its character is the closeness between the two figures. The fairy’s outstretched hand and the dragon’s raised head create the sense of a shared moment, with neither one treated as background decoration.

The colour palette keeps that connection visually strong. Black wings and scales frame the scene, while the red fabric draws the eye back towards the fairy at the centre. Against those darker tones, her pale face becomes one of the brightest points in the whole composition.

Why Dragon’s Whisper Stands Apart

At around 40 cm tall, the piece has enough presence for the wing span, horns and curled dragon body to be appreciated properly. The dragon broadens the lower half of the composition, while the wings carry the eye upward, creating a sculpt that feels both wide and tall rather than simply vertical.

The piece belongs equally comfortably amongst our Fairy Ornaments and Dragon Ornaments, with both subjects given real weight within the design. Its darker palette also connects naturally with the more dramatic figures in Gargoyles, Grotesques and Horror.

Display and care

Support the main base with both hands when moving the figurine and leave enough clearance around the wing tips and dragon horns. Dust the wings, scales and clothing gently with a soft, dry brush, taking care around the fairy’s reaching hand and other projecting details.
