Cogwork Chief Steampunk Feather Skull Ornament
A dramatic feathered crown rises above Cogwork Chief’s skull, with a beak-like form and mechanical fittings worked into the headdress. Ribbed pipes curl across the lower face, bringing an industrial edge to the bone-effect features.
Standing approximately 15.7 cm tall, the hand-painted polyresin ornament mixes dark silver, gold-toned and bronze-like colour. Gears sit amongst the layered feathers, while pipes and small circular components frame the empty eye sockets. Detail continues around the sides, giving the skull an intricate profile as well as a bold front view.

Feathers, Pipes and a Mechanical Skull
The feathered headdress gives Cogwork Chief a broad, dramatic outline, while the curled pipes draw attention back towards the face. Rather than relying on gears alone, the design layers feathers, tubing, metallic fittings and bone-like textures to create something more elaborate.
That mixture of organic and mechanical detail gives the ornament plenty to discover from different angles, with the decorated crown and side profiles carrying as much interest as the grinning skull at the centre.
Steampunk Detail with a Darker Edge
The gears, ribbed pipes and metallic styling make Cogwork Chief a strong addition to our Steampunk collection, while the hollow-eyed face places it firmly amongst our Skull Ornaments. Its unusual silhouette and layered sculptural detail also work well alongside the stranger forms found throughout Gargoyles, Grotesques and Horror.
Display and care
Lift the ornament from beneath the solid lower section. Remove dust from around the feathers, gears and pipes with a soft, dry brush, and keep projecting details clear of knocks.
