Chocks Away Tankman Skull Ornament
A pale skull peers from beneath a brown, vintage-style padded tank helmet in Chocks Away. Broad ear coverings frame the hollow eyes, while a chin strap hangs below the jaw. Sculpted seams and padded panels give the headgear a worn, military-inspired appearance.
Cast in hand-painted polyresin, the ornament has a listed size of approximately 13cm. Bone-effect shading defines the brow, teeth and eye sockets against the darker helmet. The contrast makes both the grinning face and its distinctive equipment stand out on a skull collector’s shelf.

Vintage Headgear with a Macabre Occupant
The rounded helmet panels change the familiar skull outline, enclosing the crown and widening the silhouette at the sides. Their stitched-looking detail contrasts with the smooth bone-effect face, making the headgear as much a part of the ornament’s character as the skull itself.
Brown tones bring an earthy warmth to the design, while the shaded teeth and hollow features preserve its gothic character. It is an unusual addition for collectors who enjoy skulls dressed in distinctive costumes or equipment.
Compare Two Helmeted Skull Designs
Display Chocks Away beside Techno Tank to contrast vintage-style padded headgear with a more mechanical skull interpretation. The shared helmet theme gives the pairing a clear focus, while their different textures keep each piece distinctive. Find further characterful craniums in our Skull Ornaments, or add a full figure from Reapers and Skeleton Ornaments to vary the shapes across the display.
Display and care
Place on a stable, level surface and support underneath the skull when moving. Protect the hanging chin strap from pressure or knocks. Dust the helmet seams and bone-effect features gently with a soft, dry brush. Avoid soaking or abrasive cleaners.
